Furniture removal rates for Melbourne moves

Please call us to discuss your particular moving task. Below are basic guidelines:

• Our rates start from 2 men moving things for $100 per hour on weekdays (ex - GST)
• Rates are based on a 2-hour minimum charge base to base (Melbourne CBD).
• Above rates quoted for a three tonne (20m³) truck.
• Packaging and associated moving materials will be quoted separately if required and can be delivered prior to the removal date if needed
• Packing services will also be quoted separately if required
• Rates are exclusive of insurance

Removal insurance

Insurance of your furniture and household goods must be arranged by you directly with the insurance company. In accordance with the Corporations Act 2001, a person (e.g. removalist) must be licensed or authorised in order to carry on a financial service. Additionally your goods in transit cannot be covered by our public liability or workers compensation insurance. Although Men That Move Things take all the necessary care to ensure that your goods arrive safely, there may be circumstances whereby a removalist is not liable for any loss or damage to your goods. For these unforseen circumstances we recommend that you take up necessary insurance with Associated Marine Insurers Agents Pty Ltd.
